“WICHITA STATE OF MIND” Juried Local Exhibition
DESCRIPTION “Wichita State of Mind” Juried Local Exhibition is about showcasing the numerous artists of this great city in a gallery setting, with all works displayed salon style. The exhibition will take place from July 26 – August 12.
ENTRY AND FEES This exhibition will be juried from digital media. Artists may submit up to three works for consideration for the non-refundable fee of $20, you may add up to 2 additional images for $5/image. There is also a 40% commission from any sales at the gallery. Artist will receive their 60% within 30 days of sale.
IMAGE SPECIFICATIONS File Format: JPEG only. File size: 2 MB maximum.
ELIGIBILITY This competition is open to any artist who resides in Wichita, Kansas, working in two-dimensional media. All mediums are welcome. We also have 9 10″x10″ pedestals for small sculptures and ceramics.
DELIVERY Work needs to be delivered between July 19 – July 22.
AWARDS “Best of Show” will be awarded $100.
PRESENTATION Works must be professionally presented and ready for installation upon receipt.
INSURANCE Artwork while in the gallery will be under HUE’s Insurance Policy, which covers $100,000 of artwork. If the values of works in-house exceed this amount, the insurance will cover a shared percentage based upon real-value of work. This is not an agreement of coverage, HUE Gallery of Contemporary Art has insurance for the benefit of the artist, and if you are concerned your entire value of artwork will not be covered, we would suggest you obtain your own insurance.
AGREEMENT Completed entry constitutes agreement on the part of entrant to all conditions stated. Works may be reproduced for publicity unless otherwise indicated.
